Leading the engineering design and managing the engineering efforts of a data marketplace for Marqeta, allowing internal teams to publish data assets for customer subscription powered by the DiVA API.

Developing and maitaining an internal API for secure encryption/decryption of sensitive row data for use as a Snowflake External Function.

Led the implementation of a rearchitecture for Marqeta's data reporting/analytics API, transparently replacing it with a scalable, serverless infrastructure in AWS. Implemented multi-region failover for the service, with additional data segregation in the EU region in 2022. Moved into a hands-on management role with more engineers supporting the project in 2023, leading maintenance and feature enhancements.

Developed infrastructure to allow migration of critical bank report pipelines from on-prem servers to the AWS cloud.

Developed infrastructure in Terraform targeting AWS for application-level proxy servers providing secure connectivity to internal services. Set up monitoring and alerting with DataDog integrations for continual maintenance.

Developed an ETL pipeline which parses encrypted transactional data stored in AWS and securely pushes the data into Snowflake for downstream consumption by authorized users.

Lead the engineering efforts of a small four person team on the Foundational Intelligence Modernization (FIM) effort to develop an NLP pipeline which provides a RESTful API.

Developed a subsystem for efficient physiology simulation for the open source Synthea project. The system uses models defined in SBML with SBSCL to execute simulations. Results are transformed for compatibility with the FHIR standard.
